Introduction

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is constituted under Part 9 of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore. The JSC has jurisdiction over all officers in the Singapore Judicial Service. The JSC has the following functions and powers over these officers: appointment, confirmation, emplacement on the permanent establishment, promotion, transfer, disciplinary control and dismissal.
